Scale 1:72 / Diecast model

General Background:

The Sukhoi Su-35S Flanker E is a highly modified and improved derivative of the Su-27. In the 1980s modifications were made to the Su-27 (Su-27M) also referred to as Su-35. About 20 years later a heavily modified member of the Flanker family was produced and given the title of Su-35S Flanker E. Considered by many to be the most capable fourth generation fighter in the sky and equipped with many fifth generation technologies. This probably will be the last of the Flanker family when the fifth generation Russian aircraft arrive.

The Aircraft:

The first prototype Su-35 (T-10BM) was constructed at theKnAAPO (Komsomoisk-
onAmur Aviation Production Company) and delivered in the summer of 2007. That same
year the Su-35 prototype bort 901 was delivered to Zhukovskij and was revealed to the public and the world as a ground display for the 2007 Mak’s exposition. At first sight the Su-35 is an upgraded version of the Su-27 with thrust vectoring nozzles. Bort 901 completed its maiden flight on February 19, 2008 and in 2011 901took part in Su-35
flight tests.
